No Factory Parts Available After Only 10 Years???

My local MB dealer tells me that The factory can no longer supply AMG body side skirts for the W 124 Cabriolet. Is this possible? The car is only 10 years old. The side skirt that came up under the chassis number was nothing like the original. I would welcome any comments please. Does anyone know a skirt repairer by any chance?. Many thanks.

I can't comment on the parts avaibaility, but most bodyshops can repair plastic panels these days. Most car bumpers are of similar construction to side skirts and body shops and dent repairers etc are always putting them back together.
