Noisey idle and squeal on full locks

So this morning I started my c220 cdi w204 and it was particularly noisey.. when I went to turn the wheels it squeals on lock.

I noticed a split hose above the power steering connected to switch over valves but I believe that to be to do with the egr valve (but unsure)..

Would this be part of the problem or just coincidence?

Any ideas on my issues?

Hello and welcome

All power steering pumps will squeal on full lock, you’re better off not quite going to full lock as it puts an awful lot of strain on the pump
