Nokia 6110 Navigator

Hi

Does anyone know if the Nokia 6110 Navigator works with the Merc Bluetooth ?
i.e. does it download contact details
I can tell you the Motorola A780 only allows you to make calls and will not download any info.
Maybe we should start a blog listing phones that work and one's that don't.

Merc supply such a list month by month, just ask your dealer.
The 6110 is not on the list I have which is quite new so will probably work in the same way as the A780 which also is not on the list

Mercedes does not know

Just because the Nokia 6110 Navigator isn't on the list does not mean it does not work. It just means Mercedes haven't tested it. It seems to me that Mercedes have a real problem with Bluetooth and their Command system and have created this half hearted attempt to provide bluetooth because their customers demanded it. Rather than re-write Command, we have been given a system that will require every new phone to be individually tested to know whether it will work (according to Mercedes Technical Support who I was just talking to). Now, as new phones come out daily this isn't going to happen, so the new phones I was interested in such as the Sony W760i, the Samsung i780, the MWg AtomV, the Eten Glofish according to Merc Tech don't work, but when pushed they tell you they haven't been tested so they don't know.
