Non Franchise Services

I am looking for a non franchise servicing. I have used Prestige Servicing in the past but they no longer have a registered dealer in my area (Petersfield Hampshire). Prestige were a lot cheaper than the franchise garage (about £100 + ). Anyone know of any good garages?
I get very confused over the servicing i.e. A or B. According to Presitge you got an A one year then a B the next.
Also what does one get for the vast difference in price? When I rang Mercedes the engineer could not tell me!! Apart from "oh we check the brakes", What? for an extra £200 QUID!!

You can see exactly what is supposed to be done on the servicing by looking in your service booklet.
A service is very basic and little more than an oil change.
B service is wheels off and more checks.

Hello there,

Not too far from you (well, 30-ish miles?), there is Pro-Tech MB specialists, in Kingsclere, near Newbury.

I haven't used them myself so I can not say anything either way as to their service.

I have kept their ad in case I need them in the future.
