not 100% sure where the starter is located

i am just about to try and open this lock but i dont know where my starter us. i dont know to much but this wd40 just isnt opening my boot so i need to attach the leads to it. please help. its a basic c 220d

Use the flip key spray the lock with WD40 clamp vice grips to the key and work it back and forwards putting a little pressure on it as it moves and the lock should open.

If it's you starter your after,try the front end you wont find it in the boot.

The question is not very clear,having a look at his other post i think he wants into the boot.Not sure.
