Not flashing when locked

2011 CLC Kompressor 1.8
Mercedes 2011 CLC Kompressor 1.8 won't flash when locked. I noticed that it indicated an unlocked boot on the dashboard but the boot is locked!

Any advice or suggestion on what to do?

Must be a dodgy sensor that thinks the boot is open.

2014 639 Viano- 651, 5sp Auto. 2009 S211- 646, 5sp Auto.
Could be a micro switch within the lock mechanism.

But if lucky adjusting the D hasp might allow the switch to see closed. you could try moving it outward a mm or 2.
