I will be not be using my ML for the next two months, it will be parked in the garage. Does anyone have any advice on do's and don'ts. For example one friend suggested not leaving the hand brake on. I will be around to start it up if necassary.

Thanks
Garry

Agree with the handbrake, 2 months should not be a problem, pumping the tyres up to max should stop any flat spotting of the tyres. Full tank of fuel is better than non as less chance of rust forming.

Never had problems, my ML generally is parked up all summer, and comes out to play in mans territory, ice & snow  , I generally leave the hand brake off and put NO tension on the Park brake, ie. drive onto stops before moving the gear lever to Park. The other thing is connect a top up charger or solar charger, drain on the battery from alarms etc could take your battery out if its 3 or more years old (ie. flatten it, leaving it in deep discharge, = knackered battery).

Went off roading Sunday, up 1500m of Alpine forest, ML's are just the bizz, take all kinds of shiza and still party on for more. Winch... or is that wench... next on board
