Hi all, now this is a pic of the truck i drove for about 4 years, its a merc as you can see,but when loaded,it was around 75 feet long, thats londer than most lorries who need police escort, and 16 feet 2 inches high,so you have some idea of the size of the beast, but i loved it,and sickness has made me unemployable,so i am not happy, but i get on with life as best as i can,and my wife is so good to me,and she is also disabled, but we are good for each other,i do hope the truck is to your liking, bless you all,i will try my best to model it,but without measurements and up close pics,it will be difficult to say the least, well i will stop waffling now,and thanks for reading,Ian

Hi,
......my first post

it isn`t an 1817 is it?
a company i worked for used them about 12 years ago.
People these days (well the company i work for anyway) seem to prefer Scanias quoting 350,00 km`s before the real problems start but those old Merc trucks would do 500,000 km`s before needing major work .....
(in my very humble opinion)

Scania and Volvo have 72% of the world market in trucks, the other 28% is made up of all of the rest put together. that was fact in 2002.

Don't think it has changed much, that figure included bus and coach chassis.
