NTG 4.5 Traffic warning suddenly in Japanese :/

Morning All

suddenly noticed this morning that sometimes my initial warning about traffic is displayed in Japanese , anybody else seen this before? , not my image but this is the screen which im on about.

I'm wondering if this could be the beginnings of a HDD failure? , the only other thing that I have done lately is upgrade my xentry passthru to 12/2020 version , but I wouldn't have expected that to alter anything in the car by itself @Alfie have you ever seen this?

From your GPS position Comand knows where you are, and will issue traffic reports if you are in that location or approaching it.

Can't explain that one Matt
If reports are being received in both English and Japanese, something is amiss.
If Japanese only, has the language been accidentally changed in the settings?

As an aside, on my NTG1 Comand in my last car I was in Poole Dorset yet the map showed I was parked in the River Thames!
The GPS antenna needed replacing.

I don’t think it’s a GPS issue for the opening welcome (warning) screen which OP is talking about. Mine still gives me an English message when I’m in France.

More like a software issue related, in some way, to the Xentry update perhaps.

Language is def UK , original headunit etc , I tried to repeat the issue and get a photo but now seems to have disappeared , I will keep an eye on it and see if it happens again Ive noticed it twice now I think
