NTG1 update disc ?

used to be a firmware update disc for the comand unit - added time of arrival, hid the eng menu and other bug fixes.... I have a disc somewhere but lost where at the min

used to be a free download of merc site - but they long since killed that - I want to see if its the same clock fix patch on the actual disc - as these units have the date stuck 19 years wrong - can anyone point me to a download of a legit copy please

Burn onto CD .
Insert in front of the DVD/CD DRIVE before press 1,3 and 8.

interesting how to get at Eng menus - if u speak german

still after the firmware disc

this is from a guy says even with the later firmware designed to stop the Eng menu this gets him there....

On my COMAND NTG1, the software is 30/06 on it and I come into the e-mode.


1. Press SERV


2. Press system


3. Press language


4. Press and hold


5. Press and hold arrow to the left upwards


6. Press and hold AUDIO


7. now hold the three keys until E-Mode appears


In E-Mode, for example, the software version can be queried, but I do not know of any key combination, with which you can, as with older versions, e.g. DVD can unlock the DVD while driving.
