Good Morning All, I'm new to this MBO forum so any help would greatly appreciated and thanks in advance.

The right hand hand side number plate bulb has blown on my SL 350 2005. I have tried changing the bulb as is the norm however, after testing the contacts there is no power getting through to the housing. The left hand side is fully functional.

Before I go down the route of asking an auto electrician, how easy is it to get to the housing wiring. Looking at the boot the fittings look a bit tricky.

Regards

G

When you change that bulb , did you turn light switch off and then on again.
It is powered by SAM 1 via ECU.
