Whys that ED ? Surly the risk is reduced, because only one side of the vehicle is vulnerable.
I tend to favour the end of a row but then I have seen white haired old ladies swipe the end car as they tried to turn the corner so may not alway be safe!

Yep, you probably can't 100% guarantee your car is safe, but you can considerably cut the chance of a ding/dent/scratch etc
with a bit of thought and effort. :)

but vulnerable to those that can't drive and cut corners.

I try to park on the other side of carparks from the supermarket and park such that it might 'discourage' people from trying to squeeze in on my nearside

Think I will leave it in the garage and walk to the shops

That's fine if you are just popping down to the corner shop but doing the weekly shop ?, I don't think so.:D

An old B-Class.
So to sum this thread up:

No matter where you park there is a potential problem be it a tree, shopping trolley, old lady, moron, inconsiderate git, child ………….

You sometimes get those unicorn parking spots where there is only space for one car and nothing can touch you. I'm always on teh look out. Thsi was where I parked in a public parking when I was still working in OZ. Perfect 1A2796A2-52B1-4E17-A684-AE3B95E48C1A.jpeg
