Odb faults codes

Was driving around today and the engine management light came on.
The car works fine , no probs but the light is on.
Came home, found an obd cable wich i had it in the garage, downloaded a pc program for codes readers and these codes came up;

P050E
P3EFA
P0F63
P1D7D

I saw these obd2 reader tools on ebay but not sure if they do the job, just need it to read the codes.
Has anyone tried them?
Is it worth buying it for £25?
