Odd problem.

Hi all.

I have a E320 CDI from 2000.
Somtimes wen i give gass i can´t make it make a kick down and i won´t rev.
Wen i put it in park i can rev. the enigen fine but wen i put it in D same prob.
Thes is not every time but about 30% of the times.

Any idear??

Air flow meter at a guess, could try cleaning, search MAF theres plenty on here about DIY and what not to buy.

Did you see thats the fauldt only comes with the gear i D (or other pos.) ?

yes, id second an airmass fault, although im seeing an increasing number of blocked cats giving airmass like symptoms,

id recommend getting it booked into a garage as you may waste money on a airmass,

if we looked at your car and suspected airmass, we would fit one, if problem not solved we would refit your old airmass no charge to you,

sometimes guesswork, (which advice online is) costs lots more in the long run, im seeing more and more customers come in saying ive replaced x y and z after advice from forums but fault still there, after a quick inspection find fault. customer has wasted lots of money in their guesswork.
im not being funny with above advice but a little knowledge is a dangerous thing.
