The four door version was my first introduction to MB. I was in my early 20's and the Guy I worked for had a 220 SE 4dr. Whenever we went out anywhere on a job or whatever he always insisted that I drove him. Well you can imagine how inflated my chest was, a lad in his early 20's driving such a car, it was a dream

U sure won't have many electronic probs. Bit pricey 4 me but unlikely to go down and for time being, better than cash in bank. Plus enjoyment factor..

I’d love to but would leave me flat broke, it looks in great condition and very low miles. Comes from a museum so should be nice a great investment.

You can always earn more money…

In my experience museum vehicles can look spectacular but not work very well as appearance can have been prioritised over mechanical operation

Very true, sitting for years not being run is no good however mechanicals much easier to repair than rusty bodywork and it stays original

my uncle had a saloon in that colour combo back when i was a nipper , ran it along side a P3 rover ( i think ) in the same colour as wedding cars

That was my 2nd Mercedes I had after the 450 was sold. 1960 220se 4 door in ivory and grey interior. It was a step back in time
