Hello everybody.
Great forum.
Think I may need some guidance in the near future.

I purchased a R129 SL500 today.
Pick it up next week.

It's not perfect by a long way, but it did have service history and was the model
I wanted, 1996, with 5 speed auto and panoramic roof.

I hope to make it a Mercedes to be proud of once again.

it makes me want to connect missiles to it and use it as a guidance system to rid the world of chavs & sours fans & traffic wardens & police vehicles with speed detection devices & cyclists who seem to think red only applies to things with engines & dogs
