My dad crashed his porshe at 30mph and I said to him, "Dad, how can you crash a porshe at 30 mph?" The very next day I drove my Merc into the back of a Ferrari, at 50mph, at a set of traffic lights.

Has anything like this happened to anybody else?

Whatever you do, don't take the Pagani Zonda out to the chip shop tomorrow.

Many years ago on Hammersmith roundabout I witnessed a guy in a Mini Metro drive into the back of a police car. I laughed so much that round the next corner I drove into the back of a Range Rover .... £1,500 bill thereafter. There is justice, it seems, if you choose to mock the boys in blue.

Yep!, My boss had his car shunted from behind and so he was short a car, so I lent his "driver" mine to take his wife around in and his driver -2 hours later- shunted someone else up the rear. My boss got his car fixed within 24 hours by the guilty party, whilst I lost my no claims bonus and had to wait 2 weeks for my car to get fixed. I wasnt best pleased, but as he was my boss ( and generally a good bloke) I just had to swallow it.

Cheers

Many years ago, my son who was 18 at the time, borrowed my new Range Rover to go out in. Whilst it was parked up, some scrote broke into the RR by smashing a side window. My son felt so bad about it, that he offered to take the RR to get the side window replaced. On his way to Autoglass, he rear-ended a new BMW ...... BUT the BMW was SO new, the owner hadn't had time to insure it  The result was that he didn't want an insurance/Police involvement - and simply put it down to an 'accident' which he would be more than happy to pay for.!!! Fortunately, the RR suffered only a slight scuff to the front bumber - but considerably more damage was done to my Sons pride.!!!
