Oil change E200 1.8 Petrol

Just going to change oil and filter in a 2006 E200 1.8 Petrol.

Is there anything special about this operation or straight forward.If straight forward I would give it a go myself ?

Nothing special to do this,, do use a MB filter, they are the best and note the order of the washers

Now that I have the oil changed - I need to reset the service light/spanner....Any ideas how to do this ?

Also I have the engine management light on - used a code reader to see what the deal was and it came back with P0171 - System To Lean (bank 1 )

Appreciate any help out there as to what this may be.

turn ignition key to position 2. press 0 button (trip mileage reset) twice within 1 second. turn key to position 0. press and hold button 0 then (whilst continuing to hold button 0 down) turn key to position 2. after about 10 seconds you should hear a bleep and the service indicator should be reset. all buttons can be released, ignition switched off etc
