hi can anyone help i have tryed to get a workshop manual for a E240 and i am about to change the oil can anyone tell me ware the oil filter is top bottom or side i know this seem simple but this is the first time i have done any work on her.

Hi Nim,

Check out e-Bay for a WIS Manual - The official MB manual can be had for all MB vehicles from 1986 - 2002. It costs about the same as a Haynes single vehicle manual and is more comprehensive but requires a PC or lap top to run. Both TV and I have one and although navigating through is IMO a pain it is vehicle specific i.e. gives all the info for your chassis No. .
