Hi

I need a replacement oil filter (cartridge replacement) for my '94 E220.
Does anyone know of a site where I can order on - line? I've had a trawl through a number of search engines but nothings turned up..

Thanks for any help.

Go to any motor factors or Halfords or even an MB dealer ;if you want the original part; and you will get one over the counter. Why would you order one on line?
If you must, try ; Eurocarparts.co.uk

Mark, a wee bit of advice, for a few extra pence get a new sump plug also. If it's not already well 'chewed up' it's likely it will be before you get it out (no disrespect, they're usually pretty tight and the bolt-head is soft). It's a 13 mm by the way.

Thanks for the advice.
You're probably right, better to buy over the counter - expect the postage will be more than the filter itself!
Also - had forgotten about the horrors of the stripped sump plug (a bad indication that I'm not changing the oil enough :)

The oil filters from a dealer are surprisingly cheap, you're only taking a couple of quid difference. As others have said, get a new sump plug and washer.

Re. the sump plug ,if you use a good quality single hex. socket you should not have a problem.
