oil filter

Hi everybody.Just got my first mercedes an e220 coupe,any idea where the oil filter is, thanks

down in the front of the engine,left hand side, looking at the car from in front, or at the back, up high, right hand side, near the firewall. Or somewhere else, as Merc constantly strive to stay one step ahead of my knowledge of their cars. It' a cartridge type, so will either have a steel housing, or a black plastic one.
