Hi all,

we own a MB A-class 160 (99) - 80k.

A few days ago we were 30 miles into our journey to Nottingham from London,

We were doing about 80-90 mph up the M11 when we got the Oil Hi beeping message from the Display, - i cheked the oil before we left (mannualy - via the dip stick) after ignoring the oil message a couple of times the ASR/ABS warning lights lit up. - this was enough for us to pull into the hard shoulder,

After reading the owner manual and worringing for about five mins - i decided to drive again to the next services, (incidently when we restarted the engine the ABS/ASR lights went out)

We drove at about 60 mph to the services and after about 30 mins i decided to check the oil levels via the buttons on the dash, it said OIL Hi,

I decided to continue our trip and did not pass 70mph all the way, no oil messages or any other fault.

On the return trip i checked the oil levels again a few different times, sometimes it says OIL OK and others it says Hi,

Should i be worried about this or not?
Also - could the error messages be anything to do with the speed we were traveling at?

Thanks for your advice.

Martin.
