Every car I have owned has had a dipstick my w203 does not, always niggled at me .
I change the oil in my car every 12000 miles, so this time it was 2 yrs since last changed .
Took it for brake pipes doing above diesel tank, oil change and pre mot check (due next month) , any way
got a call it would pass ok , so got him to put 13 months test on it, asked how much oil he took out of it
5 to 5 1/2 litres he said .
But I still bought this for my peace of mind

Can you put up a picture of the dipstick end with the measuring marks? (your stick looks a bit like the ATF dipstick?)

You can check the oil through the dash menus.....

If his dash menu measurement is anything like mine, it will be inacurate and very wrong.

On some cars its the only option. Our 230 has no dipstick and can only be checked via the dash.

Not even a service dip stick? I'd hate to rely solely on a sensor for the oil level .... what if if failed when there wasnt enough oil in?

Wasn't one I could find yesterday when I had to top it up.
Didn't remove any covers but there was certainly nothing external.
