It's a long and fiddly job. I've done quite a few now. As they get older I'm finding the bolts down the back that secure all the exhaust pipes to the turbo are getting harder to remove. I don't know if this is just age or the fact that they may have been removed before. All those bolts are copper coated and are single use items. I suspect they get reused, and that makes subsequent removal a problem. If any shear off it becomes a ball ache.

yes I noted that pal , it seems a strange place to put the oil cooler to me , used to them being part of a rad pack or bolted to a lower part of the engine like of the 7 series

Its a time intense job that requires alot of gubbings removed and replaced in the v of the engine all the for the want of a rubber seal. Think the correct one is purple now.
if you are doing this at home,
space, time and lots of pics along the way are needed.

Chrysler 300C

2 points to you , its a very strange thing when driving one , it sounds like a Mercedes and rides like an S class and if you shut your eyes you wouldn't guess what you were travelling in wasn't a high end luxury car , I just wanted something different that I can personalise a bit

Think of it more as a heat exchanger than a cooler ie coolant helps warm the oil in the first place. My V6 Vauxhall had the oil 'cooler' in the same place.
The ATF cooler was in the side of the rad though
