hello good fellows,

it has been a week now and my car is acting up to me and I can't seem to find the source of the problem.
after a long day on the road, about 200 km done, when returning home, limp mode...

OBD scaner is allways on so I picked up my phone and scanned the codes:

P0299 and P2359

both point to low boost pressure in turbo circuit...

already checked:

hoses to an from intercooler, geometry vanes at turbo (free and running), replaced intake pressure sensor, looked for oil spots at intercooler that may indicate a puncture...

the egr circuit is not to significative since it is blanked off (unplugged) with egr delete mod plugged in... however I checked it again and it continues clean inside...

I begin to believe that actuator is causing some kind of trouble, although I check its movement at start, idle and acceleration, and it is moving full range...

DPF is out of the question, I don't have one... mine is Catalytic (so no DPF sensor or exhaust back pressure sensor)

can anyone shed some light on my quest?

thak you all in advance...

hello again good fellows...

my car must be bewitched...

now is the info/navi center that began to act up

•radio volume knob stoped working, steering wheel function only
•comand aps ntg2 is acting up (disc 0 errors and on the next morning everything is fine again...)

as far as the limp modes one after another:

•CEL light on for no reason (P2A00 and P2553) without limp mode

but it still goes into limp mode with 2 codes and is stuck in it

P0299
P2359

both point to low pressure turbo circuit...

at this point I have already checked:

hoses that run from:

•intermediate part where the temp sensor is (top) - intake
•intercooler (bottom) to intermediate part where temperature sensor plugs is (this one is recent, replaced about 6 months ago)
•resonator of turbo exit
•turbo to intercooler

•no cracks or splits or O-rings missing

•replaced the intake pressure sensor

•turbo actuator is commuting full range when start the engine and closes back when turn off
•turbo vanes are free and working fine

serviced last december: engine oil, filters (air, oil, fuel), levels checked,

-----

I need some guidence and your expertise on this one...

hope to hear from you soon

many, many thanks in advance...

cheers

How's your battery? Lots of random errors could mean low voltage. These cars like a good strong battery.

I have samecar as you and got a decent battery for less than 100 quid so not too bad.

hi, Yugguy...
battery is fine, about 10 months old, 12,6V on dashboard technical menu, besides, everything began after a ~200km trip, so the charge is complete...
that is another one to rule out...
ground connections were checked also...

quite a riddle this one, :(:(:(

update and fix solution:
I have build a smoke device to find any leaks and,... eureka... it was the tiny hose that connects to the intake manifold pressure sensor that had a crack on it... right under the sensor itself...
I simply cut off the portion that was damaged and connected to the sensor that I had to remove from where it was attached
I went for a test drive and no more codes or limps occured...
I am vary glad it was a simple fix but very sad at the same time that no one could ever point me in that direction... even the indy that replaced the new sensor with even noticing the condition of the hose... that was a lazy guy...;):);):);)

Well done that man,
am I right to think your smoke generator was a pressure devoce that filed the air route? You then saw smoke leaking out ?
