Hi all

I’ve got an issue with our w205 that’s driving me mad, when the car is warm an up to temp, on a long relaxed drive it’ll randomly stick at around 2,000 rpm and the rpms will fluctuate by about 50rpm up and down, as you press the throttle harder the vehicle hardly responds at all, almost like limp mode.

I’ve got access to genuine Xentry star and there’s never any DTCS in either the ecm or TCM.

Had it in at the main dealer 3-4 times and they never can find an issue.

Gearbox specialist confirmed it but couldn’t pin it down to specifically the box and they didn’t want to risk a 3.5k rebuild, anyone seen it before?

It’ll shoot back into life if you either use the lockdown switch on the throttle or the paddles, baffling.
