One touch window switch

A previous (read newer) Mercedes that I owned had one touch electric window switches, up and down. My current C280 only has one touch open on the fronts.

My question is, can I put alternate switches on the front and rear or is that one-touch feature not contained within the switch itself?

(I think the above makes sense - LOL)

Hi Mike.

My '99 W202 has 'one-touch' on all windows, the switches have a 2-stage feel and positions which accommodate this.
I'm guessing it may be possible although I'm not able to recommend a solution.
Do your windows also have the 'anti-jam' feature like mine?

You could fit this feature but it is,nt just the switches you would have to change as their is a control unit that would have to be fitted/replaced in the boot, this unit is called the conveniance relay unit, i also believe the window motors may have to be changed to the later face lift items as they have micro switches fitted in them to cut the motors out at extreme ends of travel.

Yes, that's it.

My 202 had anti jam but still only had auto down. I don't think they added auto up until the 99 facelift.
