After much searching and research (thanks guys), I take delivery of my 320 CLK Cabriolet Elegance this Saturday. Its a '99 pre face lift with fulll AMG body kit and a warranted 45,000 miles with full MB main dealer service history. Its a year older than I was looking at but is just the best one I have seen for my budget being absolutely immaculate and the right colour combination (silver with black leather), so I went for it! I know need a recommend for a specialist MB garage in the Mansfield area if anyone knows of one.

Getting what you wanted is worth more than anything else, I got want I wanted, and have never looked back,even if you bought a newer model, there will be another new model coming out, and it goes on forever.

If you find one (a specialist mechanic that is)....drop me an email, I'm at Sutton....dont want to be paying dealer service costs if I can at all avoid it...!! Enjoy the car....I'm enjoying mine!

Will do (I'm in Kirkby). I know there is Benz Bavarian in Duffield but would prefer somewhere closer (I've heard rumours of a specialist in Worksop)

Well done. I have finally got my hads on a 99 Merc too - C43 estate. You don't need a new car, you just need the right car. I have been looking out for a good one for a long time. Very satisfying - especially when there are so few about - some for yours I would think
