I take my high heels off when driving ;)

So do I, neither do I check my make up in the rear view mirror whilst driving I leave that until I get to TL's or pedestrian crossing. I have also taken to not wearing my nylons when I drive, they sound awful rubbing against each other and as for the electrical discharge - I can't begin to tell you how much I hate that:rolleyes:

It is possible for a woman driver to manage to have four wheels that all match - my wife is testimony to that.

She hasn't kerbed the spare yet though

Ah, but hers is a Saab - ignition key goes in behind the gear selector, handbrake looks like a banana (when you actually locate it), so the jack would probably have me beaten - more than likely it fits into the exhaust pipe for back wheels and the headlights for the front

It's not possible on mine - the rears are wider than the fronts.

If he's a metrologist then he'll better understand the saying "Come Helen and highwater"

Not sure I do - wouldn't that be a meteorologist?

You're all trying to convince me that beneath Helen's hard and uncompromising forum persona beats a heart of granite.

Don't believe it - I bet she's a real softie inside, and I know she believes in all the fundamental verities - like male superiority, a womans place is in the home, multi-tasking requires only a very limited intellect, driving is something best left to men - and curbed alloys are a natural result of ignoring that.

(....and most important of all, she doesn't know where I live........) ;)
