Anything can be repaired, but from 1 photo it's impossible to say how much it will cost, you will need a quote from a professional.

It will certainly be worth repairing. The car must be worth north of £20,000 and there isn't sufficient damage there to warrant writing it off :)

i hope so! just because the bumper is bent and from the wheel, thought there may be serious structural/internal damage

Fixable I would say but it’s still going to be a few thousand to repair, the pyrotechnics went off for the bonnet and with bumper damage too you don’t know what has happened to the crash structure. I noticed you have distronic, that will all need resetting and re aligning which is about £300 on its own

Wonder if the roof has been pushed back. Does the drivers window and door close ? Are the A pillars bent ? Is it an insurance write off ? If it is Cat S (structural damage) there are strict rules around what can be repaired. Looks serious to me.

With the amount of damage that has, why the reluctance to use your insurance company?
It's going to cost thousands whatever path you take to repair it.

I had similar on my W220 6 years ago, but both sides. skidded on ice, hit a salt bin, then spun and other sie hit the kerb and lampost.
It was a write off at 80% valuation. The car had only 46k miles on it but massive depreciation.
I took the car back and left it with my indy - I sourced most parts myself (using the loss assesors quote which included every part no of parts needed). As mentioned everyrhing can be fixed.
I made 2k on the whole fiasco.
Your car looks realtive new, so if its worth 20k ins co will write off if near 80%. You need to factor that insurance co use brand new parts from MB (not cheap).
As a first you need a quote either from indy or your ins co. But you if you need to go ins do not leave it too long.
I assume no one else was involved, so own up what happened :p.

just checked the car again, bonnet clips back down, not bent or look like anything structurally twisted. as far as i can see just needs bumper wings and new thing that holds the wheel. nothing has come up on the dash showing any signs of a crash etc.

yes I also asked what happened.

Come on OP, spill the beans.

Been out on the amber stuff, not insured, we are all guessing here.

Seems an odd thread this. Alot of damage OP joins today and not wanting to use insurance.
Thats alot of damage to not use an insurance co.
Why the reluctance to not go via ins o why the need to pay private. Looking at the damage its a fair whack.
