origin b2 & SL500

Does anyone have experience of fitting an origin b2 to an SL500, and if so was it easy/hard/don't even try ?

Two questions is it a 129 and do you have a Origin B2

Yes I already have an origin b2; - please excuse my ignorance - the car is a 2002 model and as its the first MB I have ever owned, don't know what '129' means (I will actually collect the car on Wednesday) :-D

129 means the older model car, 99% of 02 cars are the current shape R230, this being the case you will be the only person on this forum with one, My 129 Car 129 (old model) is being sold and I will buy one like yours shortly, I hope.

Yes I have installed the Origin B2 in other cars, and you will need one in your car,as you cant put a camara network into the Command, something that had crossed my mind. I do not want these things on show, but I think you only have that storage compartment below th command, don't forget that the antenna will work perfectly well under the dash, I will give this some more thought.
