Sold the E350 Coupe first day I advertised it

So, after seeking help from forum members; secured this little beauty !

One owner, 20k miles, full main dealer history, premium pluss spec and very shiny

I guess I should report myself to the "Inappropriate badge thread"? but an appointment with a hair-dryer and a bit of fishing line is booked for tomorrow.

Lovely colour one of my favourites!

I’ve just done some work on the 20in turbine alloys on my son’s car and found out the diamond cut element is lacquer on top of a base coat so quite difficult to touch up (I thought the lacquer was straight onto alloy). They seem very prone to stone damage his were quite a mess not helped by the local car wash brigade using aggressive wheel cleaner - keeping them well waxed should help.

Enjoy the car they are quite rare in that colour!

Only that the E Class was 8 years old, so needed to sell it while everything still worked and it was still worth some money. Really loved the car but buying another E Class that was basically the same as I had, but newer didn't excite me.

I'd always like the CLS and when this one came up at the right price/spec/colour combo/etc. I thought why not. Plus Mrs Dry Run was complaining about getting in and out of the E Coupe, but finds the CLS easier (shorter doors maybe).
