After much deliberation I decided to sell my e220d cabriolet. In 21 months of ownership I’ve done less than 2K miles. My better half’s deteriorating back condition meant that although she could ‘fall’ into the seat she had great difficulty getting out. Our other car a VW Tiguan is easy to just step in and out. I was offered a ridiculously good price on another SUV- a new MG HS Exclusive plus a trade in on the Merc £1600 more than I paid when purchased less than two years ago from a main dealer.
So a very big thanks to this forum and all the members who have helped with my questions.

Regards to all.

I broke a rib a few weeks ago and it was very noticeable when I started to get back driving my Ford S-Max was easy to get in an out... Mrs D's CLK was difficult without discomfort.

Hope the new car suits you.

Good luck with the MG - they seem to get good reviews but I don’t know how it will compare with the E Cabriolet. After I fell off a ladder in 2017, and damaged twhom vertebrae, I found the 207 less comfortable hence the GLC I now drive.

Stick around, Roy, no need to leave, I'd be interested in your thoughts on the MG, it's a lot of car for your money. :)
