I have some mercedes overmats in my CL, they are a deep red to match the paint but the drivers mat is wearing out and mercedes sont sell over mats for the W140 anymore, anyone know who or where I can get some either made or purchased.

Your best bet might be to have a heel patch made up to go on the driver's mat

BTW these mats usually come up very well with a good dosing of Truckwash and 10 minutes per mat with a powerful jetwash. You keep washing them till the water runs clear - you wouldn't believe how much crud accumulates in them! Hang them up afterwards for a few days to dry and they look almost new

I washed the mats in the past with a henry carpet cleaner and they do come up well, the rubber backing is crumbleing off and the mats are becoming floppy and less rigid so they are folding at the joint. I thought about adding carpet to the underside to stiffen them up maybe thats something to try.
