Overhead lighting not working?

Hi, Can anybody shine some light on my latest problem? excuse the pun ha ha, my e320cdi w211 model with panoramic roof, and the large lights in the middle as a problem with the interior lights, the fronts work ok but the middle ones wont work for some reason, please help anybody with ideas cheers Dave

Are not the front switches multi function that can turn these lights off, or put them out of action

The middle ones can be turned up or down from the back so has someone turned them down from the back?

Will try and have a play but i think that there is a fault on them! thanks Dave

Have just posted similar issue on my car of exactly same spec (my fronts not working) but will have a play around based on these old answers!!!
