If polish isn't touching it then a rubbing compound should work - what are you trying to get the oxidisation off of?

Its off the W140, the pillar between passenger and rear window. Only this side has oxidation, rest of car looks good. I diod try turtle wax rubbing compound. Do I need to apply seveal coats? Same thing happened on Wifies Micra where bonnet was oxidies and i used T-Cut which worked. Tried T-Cut on above but would bnot work.
Unless it requires respray. And its Black
