I have p1470 (charge pressure negative control charge pressure high) Fault ,STAR Diag

Pressure too high, it seems there is turbo overboosting (i already fixed a turbo pipe leak and the fault changed from pressure low to high)

I found EGR transducer and turbo transducer pipes are disconnected

So I installed disabling EGR mod (more performance , no fault)

and I installed a pipe directly from the intake manifold to turbo transducer then to turbo actuator

the fault p1470 still appears , and the actuator doesn't seem to move

i tested the actuator and its working

Is it a bad transducer or wrong pipes connections ?

Your car has a variable vane turbocharger

You mention that the actuator works ok off the car but does not appear to move on the car - this could be down to a seized vane on the turbo.

Try removing the actuator and try moving the arm it connects to manually and see if it moves. - If its sticky or solid then you have a problem

It would be good to connect a boost gauge up and see what the turbo is putting out. I.e. does the boost spike and drop or is it consistent at a certain level. What rpm it comes on to boost at - should be about 1600rpm if working correctly.

If it is a seized vane then you will prob be easiest looking for a reconditioned turbocharger
