Had a look through some previous posts regarding damage to the rubber strips running along the length of the panoramic roof with it being blamed on rodent damage.
In actual fact it's covid (crow) damage.
A pair of them took up residence in a tree about 50 yards from my house and in mating season they have become mega territorial. They have trashed my windscreen wipers, ( GLE350) panoramic roof rubber strip, infact they peck and rip to bits anything rubber. My neighbours conservatory seals have gone.
I've got the video from my security cameras in case I need to get it done on the insurance.
I was just wondering if anyone has paid to have them renewed and the cost?
I didn't believe it to start with but if you Goog.e crows attacking cars, it's more common than you think. It's a right pain. Short of tying a Golden Eagle to my roof, they don't give a monkeys and are a pain to keep away from the cars.

Yes it's been reported before on forums. Not looked at the exclusions on motor policies recently, but I seem to recall there being one for rodent and similar damage, not sure about birds though. Would putting a cover over at least the top half of the car help? Or would they simply destroy that as well.
