Evening all, I hope you’ve had a nice week and now ready to enjoy the weekend I have a little brain teaser in which I’m hoping someone here can help me with?!

I have a 2006 CLS (w219) factory fitted with front and rear parking sensors however the rears have stopped working, I’ve tried searching on the net as well as on several forums and still not found the answer.

It seems that everyone else who has experienced any kind of issue with their sensors have all said that when they were faulty it effected both the front and rear’s together whereas on mine the front sensors are still fully functional but for some reason the rear ones have decided to stop working ‍♂️

Has anyone else had the same issue and if so what is the cause and how do I fix it?

I appreciate all and any help or suggestions! Have a good weekend, much love Rick

Sounds like it needs to go on a Mercedes specific code reader. That should pinpoint the issue. I'd expect its probably a failed sensor.

Often my parking sensor is er indoors! She squeals well enough if I get close. No f tech involved
Good luck sorting it.
