One unlooked for benefit to owning a M-B - in central London just find a solicitors office or corporate building of almost any sort and you park for free - no one questions your right to be there. Just saved me the price of a tank of fuel in parking charges today....

This is true, even in a hotel car park you can get away with it even if you are not staying there.

i'm sure somebody had a similar ploy before, parking at the stealership and they just thought the car was in for something.
