51 plate could that be a 211, I have sent him the 211 papers anyway for the equalizer

So...it's a 210...life the carpeted panel under both rear seats...the screwed down panel is in the middle.

Amazing thread...47 posts just to find the adjuster!!!

Post 4 was done by me :confused: and I cannot find a post where the car is stated as a 210.

What mystifies me most about the post is that even if there was a panel it is of no use at all for the fault

If he needs to replace a cable I'd think it would be vital...since each cable terminates at the adjuster under the two panels in the middle of the back seat accessed through the back doors (either side).

That may be the case...but in post 4 (of this thread) he says h's looking for a broken cable...and if one is broken (doubtful) then he needs to find the elusive panel.

No..I've looked too, but can't find a relevant drawing. But, it's there...trust me, I've done the job.

Edit: I think it's part 80 in that drawing...described as reinforcing...attached by nuts (83).

Yes I have told folk to do it loads of times, so I know there is one on most, this part of the car is unchanged form the start.
