i was just wonder where is the best position to install the parking sensor on a c-class coupe?

i come across to one of these site.

But both seem to be locate at different location. One install it lower than the strip in the rear under the boot. while the other one install it on the strip just under the boot. Here is a link to the picture of the position i descripted.

Becasue at the moment, i want to install a parking sensor, but the fitter ask me which location i want to fit at the rear and i am not sure where is the best position.

hope someone can give suggest and advice on what they thinks.

Hi your web site is asking a lot for a CISBO system. I fitted one of these to a C 220 CDI,I had the bumper off to fit a tow bar so was maybe easy to run wires etc.I only payed £20 from ebay works great.

Fit them in the strip. That way if there no good, it won't cost a fortune to replace the strip which will come painted. Also buy a touch up spray & paint the sensors at least a day before fitting. They look so cheap if they're not colour coded.

The strips on both sides of the bumper can be removed very easily by hand. No special tools required. But the position of the sensors on this strip is essential, so check it out further befor you start drilling holes.
