Hello.

I am a newbie to the forum so very much appreciate your responses.

I decided to figure out how to locate the problem as to why all of my 10 sensors stopped working at the same time. I cleaned them all on the bumpers with WD40 to drive out moisture as a rudimentary measure.

Since then I have located the fuse box Location of fuses Leaflet, but to my amazement, there appears to be no spare fuses in any of my fuseboxes with my Mercedes-Benz CLK 220 cdi Avantgarde Coupe Sport.

With all sensors failing at the same time, it suggests to me if might be a fuse to the Dashboard Light Parking Sensor thing.

Thanks for your kind responses.

Gina

It only needs one to have failed for the system to turn them all off, you’ll need a scan to find the offending one, it could be that a cable got dislodged during the cleaning

There are some you tube vidoes to find a faulty parking sensor, like holding a camera phone to each sensor and the faulty one is audible. if that works or not I dont know.

A star/entry session will find the offending sensor and they are easy to replace provided you dont need to get the bumper off.

Thanks for your response. Ah, Nottingham. You are up the road to me. What do you mean by 'A star/entry session'?

Mercserv are one and MBCentre are another, I use MBCentre for it’s convenient access into the centre for to to get to one of my company offices, but both are equally good

Thank you. Near Nottingham Rd on the outskirts of Melton Mowbray. Can’t travel now as it’s not essential. Trying to figure it out myself if I can.

I’m sure there was someone out that direction but for the life of me I can’t think of the name now, I’ll post up if it comes to me.

Don't know if this will help.
I bought me e320 two months ago and had same issue.
Icarsoft was saying that the oughter right front sensor was problematic. I decided to purchase two just in case (since there are two sensors in front right corner).
Bumper removed and both sensors replaced.
Engine switched on and system only worked for few seconds. Icarsoft didn't find any issues or faults.
Then had a look around and found also a rear sensor hit from previous owner. Decided to replace this rear sensor with one used from the front ones that I had just removed (obviously I used the one that was in best condition and without marks on it).
After this the system is working fine more than a month now.
To conclude, I had two sensors that were hit and needed replacing but icarsoft only showed one of them (the front one and not the rear one).
