Parktronic PTS control module location w210

Can someone help me find the location of the PTS or Parktronic control module (Mercedes designates this N82 in their workshop manual) in a 2002 E430 estate.

I have searched under the rear-bench and the bonnet to no avail.

This is part of a larger problem

Using carsoft scanner I am able to see the front sensors using live data. However the front display does not light at all, even at ignition on. There is no display or sounds at any time,

To answer my own question for others seeking the same. On a RHD e430 pull the passenger carpet forward from the footwell. You will see a piece of foam - lift it clear. Underneath there is a metal plate held by 3 10mm plastic nuts. Remove these and rotate forward- the module is held in place by 2 screws. The official Mercedes WIS manual says this location is used on a w208.......

More importantly after 13 years of ownership I have front and rear parking sensors working.......
