HI Folks

Would somone be able to confirm the part shown in these pics please, basically everytime I park up I noticed a few drips of oil landing on the floor, after lying under the car for a while I'm pretty suer the oil is coming from here.

I think its a pipe from the oil cooler as it seems to come out the rad, but I'm not 100%

Difficult to see without giving it a good clean first, then a fresh run out.
Yes, those are fluid cooler pipes.
Would check the fluid levels in the auto box and power steering, as it does have a reddish tinge to the colour (or is that the flash?)

It is quite likely that the oil is from the head gasket area. have a closer look.

The fan blows it back along under the engine,,and the ting cas cover where it meets the head is a known cause, as is the damper seal on the front. It needs to be sprayed with and engine cleaner and you will see where it is coming from

Talc scattered all over the engine parts (after a jolly good clean and degrease) will indicate where the oil is coming from.

Just spray it on and use a jug to rinse off, this way it will not go into your electrics, they modern ones are very good and water soluble

it's the head gasket gone, same as on my merc but mine isnt as bad as yours,

as long as its not making a big mess then just leave it, otherwise it\s a head off job to replace the gasket

look from the top of your engine down, where the dipstick is, in that general area is where its coming from, if i get a chance i'll photo mine to show you
