The email addy looks fake too. I'm guessing a take your money and run scam. I don't think we're that stupid on here though :)

I'm also guessing the parts are off the back of a lorry, or don't exist at all.

I'm sure it's also spelt "soaring" ?

I think we have the wrong end of the stick here.
I believe "Herdal" is a mountain area in Norway. So rather than the little wooden bar to jump over, this chap considers the cost of parts to be a far greater problem, equivalent to climbing a huge mountain!

So let's not criticise - he is clearly a great intellectual with a speciality in European geography!

Maybe we all need to go back to school and learn how to spell correctly again ;)

I used to be really good at spelling but find the more years I spend tapping away at the computer the worse my spelling is getting

If one includes prices, then its one of the most expensive parts of the world, and that is in keeping with MB.

I am the first one to say that you have got what it takes  I have to use a dicionary sometimes, an absolute pain, as if you cant spell it in the first place, you cant find it

There are many things I'm not good at Malcolm :-( , my goodness there is, but without trying to sound too cocky, I would place myself at the top of any spelling class. If I've heard of the word, I'll spell it correctly. Just a pity I don't know how to earn a few bob with the talent!!

Can't say this thread does us much credit if the original posting was genuine. Leaves a rather nasty taste. We all mis-spell at times.

From what I understand of modern schools it does not matter about the spelling, it is more important to get the message accross<<<<

I do not think it was the spelling, so much as to the quality of the goods on offer that started this off.

OK Maybe you all have info I don't. Just saying it was all beginning to look a bit unfriendly and very unlike this forum normally is. That's all.

Every now and then I go and have a look at some of the threads in a couple of US sites - the level of abuse being hurled about can be quite stunning - and pointless.

I am not sure if it's because we're more reserved over here or there's a younger crowd on those sites or maybe both.

I much perfer the tone here. Then again I listen to Radio4 and not to shock jocks shouting inane rubbish and hosting rather pointless debates.

PS I am NOT wearing a pipe and slippers as I write this :)
