Ive just purchased an 02 reg C200 Kompressor and have noticed the passenger door wont lock/unlock correctly .
The lock makes a clicking sound and the button jumps up and down rapidly.
This also happens when the auto locking comes in at approx 10mph from
start. And also when using the internal dash button.
Its only happening on the front passenger door and the car door does lock eventually when the fob is pressed about four or five times.
any help would be appreciated is it a complete lock change on that door or is there a sensor of some type .
Please excuse the ignorance and the long winded explanation.

If you do a search on here for 'bouncing button' you will find this is a common problem across the recent MB range.

New door catch required, circa £70 plus fitting.
