Well that was a waste of £190:rolleyes:

Tried 4 times to get it to work, followed instructions to the T,it just threw up a few faults and left the pedal dead.

Called the company who supplied it,they didn't know why it didn't work and to send it back.

Think I'm just going to get a refund.:(

I don't think so,its when pulling out of junctions 'sharpish' for example, put your foot down and there's a momentary pause before any action, reading up,its a delay in the electronic throttle.

There is no lag on mine (in fact I have to be careful the car doesn’t take off too quickly) so I’m a bit surprised you are experiencing this. I would take the car in for a software update it might be more to do with the gearbox

That's what it feels like tbh.
Not long had the box serviced, should have asked for the update to have been done whilst it was there:rolleyes:

Oh forgot to mention I’m running a tank of BP Ultimate through it at the moment so probably part of the equation as to why the car is a bit livelier definitely takes of well. 2010 models suffered from gearbox lag until the 7+ box was introduced

GAD tuning company was talking about tuning boxes the other day , when he had to remove one to do a proper "map"

Just to clear it up,its had a proper 'map' at MSL,(297hp,516ftlb)this isn't a 'tuning box' as is normally thought, its supposed to quicken up the electronic throttle response, nothing more.

It's a late 2013 w212 facelift with a 7g+ box.

You could go back to MSL and have them remap the pedal response...

You're set to one setting then , rather than the potential of many .

That's my point. Going back to MSL will give a remapped throttle pedal that works as opposed to a dodgy add-on that might.

Not at all, but his first effort didn't work did it? I'd call that dodgy.

Given it's had a map from MSL already I don't think it unreasonable to go back to them to ask for it to be fine tuned.

So they're all the same but the Aston is the complete opposite? Hardly all the same then!

I did some comparisons with my W204, in E mode there can be a delay, but in S mode it's more than adequate. Don't really see a delay, and if I did it wouldn't make a difference to my driving.
