    Replacement? What went wrong? And I'm sure that MarineScene dealt with it well whatever it was..:)

    I use Kwik Fit...I can't buy the oil as cheaply as they can supply and fit it for me.

    Nothing went wrong with the Pela. I used it to remove diesel from an Astra I scrapped ................. and the car went with the suction pump! Bu66er! :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    But can you be sure of the spec of the oil they supply?

    I'd be reluctant to let KF to put air in my tyres. :rolleyes::rolleyes:

    All I can say is that several years ago "When were a younger man!" I always had Granadas and I always used Ford Parts because I knew a Ford Parts chappie very well, I oil and filter changed the Grannies every 4k, well one day I noticed that one of the EFL 90 canister filters only had 6 holes as opposed to the usual 8! I obviously comented, and was duley told that there had been concern over the infiltration of counterfit parts getting into the FoMoCo supply chain. The whole batch was immediately withdrawn and the proof was there!

    So with all respect, it's not just about trusting the dealer but indeed any link in the chain..
