I know there have been discusions on this before,but who the other people who read these forums,cause' like we all know there are countless no's of viewings but as said before the same people always seem to reply.
Where are they all hiding?,or are they all gonna appear at the "Cots"!!.

I think it fair to view the majority of members as owners and/or enthusiasts, and it's only natural that they look to this forum for information and guidance.  

Thankfully some are keen to share their experiences and knowledge.  However, most people have a natural reluctance to make statements on issues they have no experience or knowledge of.

Personally I've found this forum to be exceptionally helpful.  Thanks guys !

OK, on the basis I firmly believe ( pray) this will actually get through here goes...

You are asking who are all the 'ghosts' out there, well
I'm one of them!!

why don't people like me post replies, well two reasons

1) I find it easier sailing the seven seas than logging onto the site sometimes. I've even tried sending messages as a guest ( many times )but they just vanish into the ether never to appear again.
In passing anyone can view the site ( but not post) so either

a) like me they're stupid......( no response neccessary)
b) they're mercedes owners to are too cheap to join or foolishly joined that other club.........
c) insomniac mercedes owners in Taiwan brushing up on their engrish ( more on this later)

Reason two ( as you can see I'm warming up now) is I bounce in fairly regularly ( the joys of ISDN) and while I find it entertaining, informative and sometimes educational ( nice to know where the Cotswolds are ) the questions I see posted tend to fall outside my area of expertise, my requirements or my car knowledge (which is?)

Well, funny you should mention that ( definately on a roll now) last week or the week before someone was
discussing antifreeze and Dave mentioned the antifreeze company of Taiwan ( you seeing where this is going...) well I for my sins trade ethylene ( wait for it..)
and one of the worlds premier (wait for it) ethylene ( wait for it ) producer/suppliers is...Taiwan

As for my area of expertise  if you want to know the best blues bar in London,New Orleans,Paris or Taiwan I'm your man.

Keep up the good posts - p.g. this one doesn't disappear into the www  - I thoroughly enjoy reading them maybe I should change my moniker to Casper
